- Dogs and cats are welcome to stay at our hotel. Book your stay.
- We charge €25 per pet, per night. Pet food is not included.
- Simply add your pet when booking your room directly on our website.
- Pets are also welcome in our restaurant. Please keep them off tables, benches and chairs.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead and settled beneath your table or bench.
- Please keep dogs and cats on a lead or in a suitable carrier whenever outside your room.
- Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cold-blooded animals, rodents, or even-toed ungulates and cetaceans.

- Enjoy walks through the Rezat meadows, just behind the hotel.
- Explore the beautiful Rangau countryside.
- Working gundogs are especially welcome in our hunting household.
- Pet food and supplies are available locally at Zoo Becker and Fressnapf.
- At Lake Altmühlsee, you will find a dog-friendly beach beside the surfing area at Schlungenhof.
- At Lake Brombachsee, there is a dog-friendly beach near the dog agility area in Absberg.
Cocker vom SchwarzenBock – working Cocker Spaniels
As breeders of working Cocker Spaniels within the Jagdspaniel Klub 1907 and the German Hunting Dog Association (JGHV), we naturally see dogs from a working gundog perspective. We are always happy to recommend our favourite local dog walks and help you find a vet should your pet need one during your stay.
