Parking & Arrival

Parking & Arrival

Splendidly easy to reach — whether you arrive with 13,000 horsepower aboard an ICE train, with 480 in your Ferrari, or enjoy a leisurely stroll from the station.

A place for your car, right outside our door

Parking costs €16 per space, per night, from 3 pm on your arrival day until 11 am on your departure day.
Subject to availability, you may park earlier, from 11 am for an additional €9 per extension.
Or stay longer, until 3 pm, for an additional €9 per extension.

  • You may drive into and through the pedestrian zone to load or unload. Please proceed at walking pace – the Old Town is best enjoyed without haste.
  • Early parking and extended parking do not include early room check-in or late room check-out. Please book these separately.
  • Book your parking space just as you would a room: select your dates and add it to your basket.
  • Parking spaces can only be booked through our own website, rather than through Booking.com, Expedia, Trivago or other booking sites.
  • We have five parking spaces directly outside the hotel, within the pedestrian zone.

A little refreshment for your electric car

  • An 11 kW Tesla Destination Charger is available for overnight hotel guests. Please enquire by email and book a parking space.
  • A 3.5 kW charging socket is also available for use with your own portable charger. Please enquire by email and book a parking space.

Bringing your pride and joy?

For guests arriving in a classic or vintage car, our apartments and suites overlook the parking spaces. Your cherished motor can remain in view around the clock – though we do hope you will find time to admire Ansbach too.

You can expect the usual Bavarian standard of parking security.

If our spaces are fully booked

There are more than 2,000 public parking spaces within one kilometre of the hotel. See the City of Ansbach’s parking information for alternatives.

Please note: Parking at the Rezat car park is prohibited from 11 pm to 6 am every day of the year. The areas beside and opposite Schwarzer Bock are also part of the pedestrian zone, where parking is prohibited.

Arriving by bicykle, train or bus

  • Ansbach railway station, served by ICE trains, is just 800 metres away.
  • The Schlossplatz bus station is only 200 metres away.

A sheltered spot for your bicycle — and a little charge for the journey

  • Our courtyard garden offers covered bicycle parking with electrical sockets for charging e-bikes and pedelecs.
  • The courtyard is locked overnight, keeping your bicycle secure and sheltered while its battery enjoys a well-earned recharge.
  • Please leave bicycle batteries out of guest rooms and use the sheltered charging area in the courtyard instead.
